Brightening product launch for the ASIO Evo smart light !

On October 18, 2019, ASIO Evo officially launched its all-new smart lights at the Charlevoix Rally in La Malbaie, Québec.

Everything started Friday night at the “7to9 After Rally Day 1 ASIO Evo” where everything was set up to welcome all the teams, volunteers and the public—a rare event in the rally world. On the agenda, the introduction and demonstrations of the lights during side by side test rides with Jonathan Thiffault (JO Drift) and the Canadian Rally Champion, Karel Carré.

It was a success on all fronts as the warmly decorated tent welcomed a hundred visitors for the official announcement of Serge Hétu as Director of Development as well as the testimonials from the guest drivers. We offered more than thirty side-by-side rides, captivating rally folks and fans from all over Canada who were impressed by the light’s performance on the course along the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu. Late into the night, motorsport fans enjoyed the beautiful evening and the opportunity to discover and try the lights designed in Québec.

If everyone was enchanted by this evening, Saturday night was going to be as memorable given that ASIO Evo had held an online contest for the fantastic opportunity for a rally fan to sit next to the Canadian Champion for a truly special rally, a real “ride.” As if that wasn’t enough, ASIO Evo and Charlevoix Rally decided to offer to two lucky people, two volunteers of the event, a chance to live the experience of a lifetime.

As the race came to an end, the side by side sporting ASIO Evo colours lead the delegation of winning cars to the podium, where we would draw a set of smart lights amongst the teams. The gift valued at $2500 made the night of a young team, made up of Jérôme Mailloux and Dave Cyr, who had just finished 3rd in the whole event with their Ford Focus that used an old inefficient model of rally lights.

ASIO Evo and its whole team are extremely proud to have hosted such a colourful launch.
